Hello! Here’s an easy DIY lip scrub recipe I’ve been meaning to try out for the longest time. I finally got to doing it and even filmed the process. If you have chapped lips like I do, you’ll find this concoction very helpful.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Sugar will work as the exfoliator. Honey is great for moisturizing as well as lightening the color of the lips. The olive oil will also act as a moisturizer. And cinnamon is for plumping the lips a little bit.
The difficulty level of this project is -1 and you’ll be able to finish this in less than five minutes, following two simple steps. So, wanna give it a go? Below are the things you’ll need.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Mix everything together.
2. Put the mixture in the little container.
HOW TO USE IT:
Scoop a tiny portion of the mixture, apply it on your lips and scrub/rub gently. I usually scrub for 30 seconds so I don’t hurt myself. When you’re done rubbing, wipe the mixture off with a damp towel. Apply a lip balm. Use once a week.
For fun, I filmed how I made this DIY lip scrub and you can watch the clip below.
Let me know if you try it out and how it works for you!
