Things have been slow in the beauty department, but I’m glad to have finally accomplished something even though it’s quite simple and that is to finish products on my rotation. I didn’t empty these all in February, but I feel like now’s a good time to share them (because I finally have more than two). So far, I’ve gone through three different iWhite moisturizers. There’s also one sunscreen. Let’s talk more about them below.
iWhite Whip Pro-Niacin Moisturizer

I got this because an acquaintance raved about it. I do think that iWhite moisturizers are great, in general, and this one, in particular, is quite special in formulation because it has niacinamide. In case you’re unfamiliar, niacinamide is a powerhouse skincare ingredient that combats signs of aging; it minimizes the appearance of pores, softens fine lines and wrinkles, and more. I enjoyed using it but found it to lack moisturizing powers. It claims to “deeply [moisturize] with an air-whipped finish” but it wasn’t able to quench my skin’s dryness. Perhaps this would work better if you have oily skin.
iWhite Aqua Moisturizer Whitening Vita

I used the sachet version of this some years ago (mini-review here!) and found it to be quite nice so I picked it up again. It’s a reliable lightweight gel moisturizer that’s quite hydrating — not to mention affordable — but I still felt it to not be enough for my skin. It’s not bad, though! It’s just better for those with oily skin. Meanwhile, I can’t really vouch for its whitening aspect because I didn’t take it into consideration. If you think you’ll like it or if you just want to give it a try — it’s just P195.
iWhite Aqua Moisturizer Glow

Out of all the iWhite moisturizers I’ve tried, this is my favorite. It has a similar texture to the Pro-Niacin one but a bit thicker, which makes it perfect for me. It also smells of berries, which is a plus for me. This leaves my skin feeling amply hydrated and smooth. I don’t think this gives me glass skin but it does make me look healthy — like I have my shit together (even though I’m really stressed). If you take anything from this story, it’s that you need to try this moisturizer if you have dry skin.
Fresh Jeju Aloe Ice UV Sun Block

I’ve reviewed this some months ago — check it out here — so I won’t say much about it now. The gist is it’s an okay sunblock, but it’s from the brand that got embroiled in a controversy about not properly disclosing the ingredients in some of their products. This particular one’s not part of the list, but I don’t like it enough to repurchase anyway. So there’s that. If you still want to try it though…
I have a few new products in my current rotation, so that’s pretty exciting. Will share more when I find one that’s rave-worthy… or when I’ve finished them. How about you? What products have you recently emptied? What new ones are you trying?
😍 I might just have found a new inexpensive niacinamide moisturizer to try.
Yas! I think this would work great for you!!
