Matchy Matchy With My Lovely Baby in Girl Stuff Forever Pinky

“Mama, your nails look beautiful,” my daughter told me as I swipe a coat of Girl Stuff Pinky (P100).

If you’ve been here before, you already know that I put on nail polish when I’m a bit stressed or frazzled or when it’s that time of the month. It helps me focus. It’s hard to keep your attention on the brush, though, when a four-year-old asks you questions about nail polish after giving your nails a compliment. I figured she just wanted to have her nails painted again, so I asked her to make sure. (I’ve been trying to let her do what she wants, so long as it isn’t harmful — nail polish and other beauty stuff included.)

She smiled gleefully, and I started carefully painting her tiny nails.

Since Girl Stuff nail polish claims to be devoid of all the harmful chemicals found in most nail lacquers — toulene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin and camphor — I was at ease letting my daughter try it.

The brush on the Girl Stuff nail polish is quite wide, which makes covering an area with lacquer easy. When used on tiny nails, one swipe is just what you need to finish a coat. The polish’s opacity, when compared with other brands, is average. Putting on two coats is best.

Have I mentioned how cute this color is? Really, “cute” is the first thing that comes to mind when I see this. It’s pink with a very slight tinge of blue.
The color stays on for a few days. If you’re gonna do chores, though, it will definitely start chipping. But I don’t mind! It just means I’ll have another round of bonding with my baby in the form of a pseudo-manicure session.
