Are people still interested in reading about product empties?
A lot of people I know (and those I know of) have come back to “old-school” blogging when the pandemic hit. Many of them, perhaps, had no choice because we can’t really go out right now and #OOTDs outside are currently paused. I’ve always considered myself an old-school blogger, though it’s also been a couple of years since a post like this was published here.
I’d like to keep making this as a pat on the back for actually finishing products (not just hoarding them). See this as my report of some sort on how these performed for me, and hopefully, you get encouraged not just to try some of them but actually finish them, too.
Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer
First on this empties list is this popular moisturizer. I won’t go into detail on this one because I’ve already reviewed it here. If you want the quick 411, this is still something I’d repurchase — but not right now because I’m having fun testing other products. For those just starting out with skincare or someone who wants to streamline their routine, this is a good choice.
Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash
I also have a review on this already. The short version is I really like this facial wash, but… I’m also trying out something new. It’s a good gateway cleanser for those who are just starting to explore low pH cleansers. So if you haven’t hopped on that bandwagon yet, try this out.

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask
The thing about Peter Thomas Roth masks is they make your skin sting (except for the mud mask). I had to search online to know whether or not it was just my skin that was reacting negatively to this and other PTR masks but it turned out that I was not alone. I use this with the Skin Inc Optimizer Voyage Tri-Light ++, and it works well as a “gliding agent.” When used on its own, it gives a refreshing feeling and a bit of brightening but no result I would shell out P3,290 for. I also don’t like rose-scented products, so there. Not really my favorite among this list of empties.
LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask
I love how my skin felt right after I applied this but — and I hate to be on the other side of the fence because this has a cult-favorite status — it’s just okay. The effect is similar to when you wear a thick moisturizer. It claims to “purify” your skin overnight so you wake up with not only moisturized but also brighter skin. First off, purify? Heh. I’m a fan of the LANEIGE Water Bank range, though it’s been years since I’ve last used it. I think getting any of the creams from that line will give you the same, if not better, results than using just this. Well, at least for me.
Do you keep track of your product empties? If so, what did you finish last month?
