I always try to not write about products while I’m head over heels about them because I almost always change my mind about things. (Case in point: the Jordana Best Lash Extreme mascara.) But I’m making an exemption with the Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Bare It All because I believe I won’t get tired of it or change my mind about it.
I still want to be subjective, though (despite being obviously smitten by the product). So, I’m going to give you a rundown of the product’s qualities and give a verdict based on the rubric I usually use when I’m reviewing: packaging, color and consistency, wear, and price.
Packaging
The Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Bare It All (and the other colors from the line) come in a black tube with a transparent cap. The product does not go all the way down the tube, unless, of course, you’ve already used up the protruding part. It’s very lightweight, especially when you compare it with a MAC tube.
Color and Consistency
I was on the hunt for the perfect nude and was curious to try Wet N Wild’s products because I’ve read so many positive reviews on them. The Megalast line has been hyped for the longest time. And so I wanted to see if it lives up to it. I went to the brand’s stall at Landmark Trinoma and immediately got drawn to the shade. I made a swatch on the back of my hand, looked at it for a couple of seconds and asked for a new stock.
