Batangas is known for its beaches, but one destination in the province devoid of sandy shores is slowly becoming a go-to for seekers of luxe relaxation. Vineyard Batangas? It’s The Vineyard Tanauan.
The Farm in Lipa has been the long-reigning non-beach destination for travelers looking for respite from the hustle and bustle from the city life. But The Vineyard at Tanauan is vying for its crown, thanks to the many celebrities frequenting it.
What does The Vineyard Tanauan offer?
The Vineyard is a resort that’s committed to give its guests the opportunity to ‘experience the luxury of being free.’
There is, of course, a vineyard where guests can pick grapes during harvest season. It also has a wine cellar, which houses fine wines, tequila, whiskey and more drinks.

Villas are available for rent for a relaxing stay. Each one has its own private swimming pool that offers a view of the Taal Lake.
Take your relaxation a notch further by having one of the massage services available at the resort. Choose from Swedish, therapeutic, and Shiatsu.
Guests can also have their fill of Filipino and Japanese food at The Longtable Restaurant.

If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, The Vineyard also offers a helicopter ride for an aerial tour of the Taal Lake, Napayong Island and Tagaytay City.
Is Vineyard Batangas pet-friendly?
The Vineyard Batangas is sadly not pet-friendly, according to its representative. (I asked them on Facebook and was told that pets are not allowed at the resort.)
