Cute Shoes That Look Great On Wide Feet? Yes, Please!

So, let’s talk about something that doesn’t get talked about often. It’s not a matter of national interest, but it is something that a lot of people deal with. Yes, as you may have guessed from the title of this post, it’s wide feet.

I will never pass as a foot model because I have wide, stubby feet — not that I have aspirations to be one, of course. But I’m sure you get it. In the same way that some plus sized women still find it hard to shop for clothes that are stylish but fit their bodies well, women with wide feet have a difficulty of finding shoes that are cute but don’t hurt. Trust me, I know. I’ve had numerous experiences getting smitten with a pair of gorgeous sandals and having only half of my feet get in the pair, especially when they have straps.

My sister and I have the same type of feet, so we thought, why don’t we make shoes that would fit and look good? We didn’t take a course on shoemaking (maybe next year!) but we did find people who make shoes and they helped us realize our plans.

So, here we are. I haven’t really talked about it in full because I was already busy with marketing it and creating the website and everything. But I’d like to talk a bit about it here. My sister and I started selling stuff online around four years ago, but we stopped because we got busy with our day jobs. There are passions that don’t die down even after years, though. And I guess, our passion for a fashion-related business is still strong, we took a leap once again and Dida was brought to life.

Dida, named after our mother, is our biggest project together. We’re not exactly the type of sisters who agree on everything. For instance, she doesn’t like beauty as much as I do. She’s good at math. But this, you can say, is a practice in teamwork and compromise. But more than that, it’s our way of helping women who encounter the same difficulty we do. And we know we’re not the only ones out there. So if you’re someone who’s having a hard time finding cute shoes that would look good on your wide feet, there’s an online haven waiting for you to explore.

If you can, I’d appreciate if you could take a look at our website and let me know what you think!
