Jordianne is a purpose-driven, data-informed and story-focused brand builder and content strategist. She’s also a wife and a mom who loves just lazing around with her two favorite people, learning how to paint and trying to read.

JP Cornejo

JP is an experienced Editor and Writer with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing and content marketing industries. He’s also one of the best guitarists you’ll listen to!

Why Mad Cherry?

A decade or so ago, Jordianne and her husband JP and were tuned into a channel airing various US shows. The ad for one show said “match airing,” which means the series airs in the Philippines the same time it airs in the US. JP misheard it and asked, “Babe, what’s mad cherry?”

Aside from its cute origin, this site was given the name because of this quote:

The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars.
